9/21/24.... update Our go to place for sushi. This is a small place and can be noisy if busy. No problem with anything we have eaten here. Near Union Square. ************* Small place and noisy when busy. Had take out. Called ahead and the order was ready by the time I walked there from hotel. Staff was friendly. The sushi seemed fresh and all was very good. Prices about what you would expect. Worth the visit and worthy of a return visit.

Grabbed takeout. The restaurant staff was very pleasant. They had my sushi made in ~10 minutes and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend for takeout. I ordered the Red Dragon and Shrimp Tempura rolls.

This was the first sushi restaurant I ate at in SF. I've eaten at so many more here, and others around the world. This place is such a humble little STAR. Always clean, always fresh and always such a delight. The staff is warm and friendly. The service is honest and genuine. With the prices being so reasonable too, there is no other place I'd rather eat sushi at. I make it a point to visit every time I'm downtown!

We just saw the place and went in. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance but the food really surprised us. So good! The best sushi ever! The rise was perfect and the flavors so well balanced! The girl who served was really nice too.

I orders takeout while on a biz trip and it was quite a lot of food! 3 rolls, salad and miso soup for $25! Very fresh.

This is sort of a small hole in the wall sushi place. It's around the corner from the Chancellor hotel on Union Square. Nothing fancy and unassuming. But I enjoyed the sushi and the sake. The service was very good. The prices were quite reasonable.
